HIV

What is HIV? What is AIDS? What are the symptoms of HIV? When does a person have AIDS? How quickly do people infected with HIV develop AIDS?


HIV prevention

How is HIV transmitted? Can I get HIV from casual contact? How can you limit your risk of getting HIV through sex? How effective are condoms in preventing HIV? What is a female condom? Office

Established in 2007, the Breakthrough Foundation (BKF) was registered as a charity in 2008.  BKF seeks to provide practical services for people suffering or affected by HIV/AIDS in Kenya and Wales, particularly women and children. In Kenya, we work in partnership with the Oasis Of  Life Center Self Help Group (OLCSHG). The OLCSHG was registered in February of 2009 with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development in Kenya.
