About Us

Established in 2007, the Breakthrough Foundation (BKF) was registered as a charity in 2008.  BKF seeks to provide practical services for people suffering or affected by HIV/AIDS in Kenya and Wales, particularly women and children. In Kenya, we work in partnership with the Oasis Of  Life Center Self Help Group (OLCSHG). The OLCSHG was registered in February of 2009 with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development in Kenya.
Our goal is to see the empowerment of children, young people, women, men, families and communities who are living with and are vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. We seek to achieve this in five distinct ways: Economically, Educationally, Socially, Spiritually  and Psychologically.
